This customer is interested in becoming an ASAP member but first would like
some general information on Porting issues.  Could you help, please ?

Problem Statement		

Have taken over rights to Quintus Prolog from Californian company.  Want to
rebuild programme on DEC Unix v4.0.  See website www.aiil.co.uk

Ok, the issues that we would like some information about are as follows:

We ported to the OSF3.1 OS.  The OS that we would like to port to is the
current publically available system.  The underlying question is what
are the main differences between the OS's:

	- we used COFF format 3-11-0, what version are you now using and what
are the differences between the versions?  Does the current OS and
linker support 3-11-0.

	- what version of Motif is shipped with the OS.

To port to the current OS version we will need the current C/C++
compiler and debugging tools for both C and machine instruction level.
