Brief Description of Problem:
-----------------------------
Larry had two questions:
1) How to determine what escape sequence the keyboard is sending. His
application maps certain function keys and he needs to determine what escape
sequence is being sent for each function key.
2) How to change kernel parameters.

I told Larry that I would check on the keyboard escape sequence
question and get back to him.
I also gave him instructions for editting the kernel configuration file
and rebuilding the kernel. Also told him about the sysconfigtab file.

| 3423.2 | try xmodmap | HYDRA::DORHAMER | Wed Apr 02 1997 14:22 | 5 | |
I have left two voicemails for Larry. I believe that the xmodmap
utility in Digital UNIX may help him out with the keyboard mapping
question.
