porting from Solaris to DIGITAL UNIX. Compiled application using C++ 5.5
Running it immediately results in segmentation violation coredump near
portallocation kernel function.

Jim Olsen left voicemail on the warroom line yesterday. I still am
unable to connect up with him, and left another voicemail asking for
the stack trace for the crash. I also asked him to leave an e-mail
address and/or FAX number to help in communicating with him.

I left another voicemail for Jim today, asking him to please send us
a stack trace from the debugger, and also a small test case to
reproduce the problem. Since we keep missing each other's phone calls,
I suggested that he send e-mail or a FAX with additional info about the
problem.
