We have discovered what we suspect are a series of bugs in the Digital C++ compiler that we are using.

Is this the correct channel to report them through, or should we contact someone at the local (Palo Alto) porting
center and work through them?

As a rule, if you're reasonably sure it's a bug then you should contact
your local Digital Customer Support Centre (-assuming you have the
appropriate support contracts).

If the problem is a development or porting issue, then you can mail the
[email protected] account. Your problem will be dealt with by
a specialist from one of the Software Partner Engineering groups, of which
there's several world-wide including Palo Alto, and England where I work.
Typically locality isn't a factor in resolving these problems (-although
there are exceptions).

Are you using the latest version of the C++ compiler? v5.5 is generally
the latest version (-depending on operating system version).
