Is this the correct channel to report them through, or should we contact someone at the local (Palo Alto) porting center and work through them? As a rule, if you're reasonably sure it's a bug then you should contact your local Digital Customer Support Centre (-assuming you have the appropriate support contracts). If the problem is a development or porting issue, then you can mail the [email protected] account. Your problem will be dealt with by a specialist from one of the Software Partner Engineering groups, of which there's several world-wide including Palo Alto, and England where I work. Typically locality isn't a factor in resolving these problems (-although there are exceptions). Are you using the latest version of the C++ compiler? v5.5 is generally the latest version (-depending on operating system version).
