No, not officially. I manage the relationship with a third party who is
responsible for providing engineering support for the CDA product set on our
behalf.

I am forwarding your note with this reply to Meg Lustig, director of Enterprise
Groupware Products which is where CDA "lives" and Gerry Campkin who is
responsible for third party relationships in Meg's organisation. I suggest you
contact Gerry initially to address the partner's question.

    Pat,

    If the third party wants to incorporate CDA into one or more of 
    his products, then we would very happy to do a royalty deal with 
    him.  What that involves is us delivering the product to him in 
    whatever form he requires, and he then pays a royalty to Digital 
    for each license of his product(s) that he sells that includes CDA.

    What I need to know is what products he intends to include CDA in,
    how he intends to license and price that product, what sort of
    license volumes he expects to sell each year, and whether he
    expects Digital to provide back-up engineering support for CDA to
    his customers. Then we will contact him and start negotiations.

Here's the answers to your questions:

We would like to include CDA with CABINET CONVERTER, which migrates
ALL-IN-1 documents/messages to Microsoft Exchange.  It is intended
for mass migrations.

CC is priced per document.  Prices range from $1500 for 2500
documents to $30000 for 1,000,000 documents.  Anything over a million
documents is handled on a case-by-case basis.

As far as licensing goes, we allow CC to be run on any machine, as
long as the document count is not exceeded.  Document counting
security is built into the product.

We expect to sell to about 20 sites per year at this time.

We will handle all front-line support, so support requests would come
from us.
