Eric Mccann 972-868-5263
development of connect:direct

has looked into this class problem
no reproducers
noticed that hangs hang in the $jpi and mailbox driver
not returning from an event flag zero
2 major cases
	a) getjpi and iosb and event flag changes
	b) hanging in the $qio - specify an event flag and iosb - no more hang

hangs are coming from calling system services with no iosb and zero
	event flags.

Was one problem with a gigaswitch issue - unclear if related to 2100 issue.
Looked in some dsnlink - some issues with handling of system services with
event flag zero.

sterling does not know where the cat code is hanging
Eric thinks that these are vms os issues.

1) examine cat PI exhaust
2) getting some iosb and event flags out
3) mike to check data base

will send more conservative version in terms of ev and iosb's
