Hi,

We are part of the international development team for Computervisions
CADDS5 CAD/CAM product. We develop the CAM part of the product which is
integrated with the main software package in Bedford, Mass, USA.

We currently have 2 DEC alpha machines on which we currently can not
compile since we have the wrong compilers as specified by the US.

For Revision 7, which is due for release in April, we have to compile
the software on the following:

CADDS 5 Revision 7.0 Build Compilers

Platform        C		C++		Fortran

Digital UNIX	V5.2-030	V5.5-004	4.0-43


I need to obtain and install new versions of C, C++ and Fortran
compilers for Digital UNIX 4.0A and am hoping to resolve this quickly.
This will ease the platform specific compilation issues that arise in
the US after the integration of software.

Any help appreciated.

The best way to probably go about this is to contact teh ASAP number
here in the US to order the sdk kit that contains the specific compiler
version which you are looking for.  The number is 800-332-4786, and 
you can determine what the latest versions are by looking  at

	http://www.digital.com/info/software-catalogue/cd.html

Although this may very list versions which are more recent than that
for which you are looking for.

Alpha Developer Support

    Since this is my partner, I will follow up on this one and make sure
    he gets the right versions of the compilers.

    net to Dr Graham over in the UK.  I will mark this case as closed.
