Brief Description of Problem:
-----------------------------
He is running OpenVMS 6.1 and UCX 4.1. His customers encountered this problem
when moving to UCX 4.1. He can reproduce it. This application has been running
with previous version of UCX for a long time.
They are transmitting 1024 byte packets. After about 10 packets the packets
start getting cut in half. The receiving end reports a correct transmission.

Allen Grooves (75435) called on 3/11. WRQ does not have a support
contract. So Allen asked if we could help them out.
Mark Schaefer dug up a large eco/patch at
ftp://ftp.service.digital.com/public/vms/axp/v6.1/ucx/4.1/
I gave this pointer to Robert and he downloaded the 4 files at that
location.
The general instructions for installing patches are
"Since OpenVMS kits are stored on the Internet in a compressed
self-extracting executable format, they must be RUN to create
the actual save sets once they are copied to your system. For
other operating system, refer to the cover letter or README"
This does not seem to work in this case. Instead the
"The DEC-AXPVMS-UCXECO_41_4-V0400--4.PCSI kit is installed using
the PCSI utility.
$PRODUCT INSTALL UCXECO_41_4 /SOURCE=device-name"
is in the cover letter file.
