Carol D. (ASAP) tried to forward John to us, but got voicemail. Fortunately
he had resolved his problem while waiting for my callback.
For the record:
They had received a seed unit (in pretty sad shape?) and John was trying to
install a D500 card. The kernel would not recognize it. He spoke with both
Field Service and a software person about it yesterday who told him about a
patch for 3.2, but it did not work for him (he has 4.0). He found his answer
on the net - a rebuild of the kernel was the solution.
Don't know why this wasn't done before!?
