Subject: How to find a product and order it
X-Mailer: NETCOMplete v3.0, from NETCOM On-Line Communications, Inc.

On the DEC web site I found a product description titled "Application Developer's Package for C/C++" the PDF version indicates
a document number of EC-F673193. The brochure describes a "how to" set of documentation and sample code for the development
of 3 tier cross platform applications in C/C++. The brochure provided no traditional part numbers or ordering instructions.
1-800-DIGITAL could not find a part number and bounced me to the organization in Atlanta that tracks or finds part numbers.
They indicated that the part number was the EC number indicated above and that if I provided that to 1-800-DIGITAL they could
help. Back to 1-800-DIGITAL, who indicated that fullfilment of EC part numbers was handled by Moore Business Forms. On to
Moore business forms who indicated that the EC part number in question was in stock (4000) and that the unit cost was 0.18.
It (the EC part number) is apparently the brochure, of which I already had a copy.
Does the product described in the brochure exist?
How is it ordered?
If you would prefer to contact me by voice the number is 303-449-0442

An AltaVista search turned up several hits, including a location for a
F.T. kit, along with documentation, which I gave to Bob.

Bob is not a member of the ASAP program, so we talked at length about
the benefits. I pointed him to the web pages and also gave him the 800
    number to join.
