57.0. "The scoreboard!!" by DANGER::ASKETH (Beware of Greeks bearing gifts...) Mon Mar 17 1997 21:14

OK, since someone mentioned giving Ron another point here's your chance!

The scoreboard!!!

From the party we had...

H	1101
S	1
B	1
CJ	1050
R	1

so now that becomes...

H	1101
S	1
B	1
CJ	1050
R	2

Don't ask me about the scoring strategy - it was rather arbitrary!! ;-)

    	Ummm, scoreboard?

How about giving those of us who have no clue, ummm, a clue as
to what was done for the scores?

    	8^)

Hi Slab,

You got a point for a good comeback or throwing out a zing.
Cj is good compitition, I think I just caught her off guard. She is
good.....

    	OK, now we're getting somewhere.

But apparently S, B and R need some work in the fine art of quips
	and retorts, eh?

    Harry,

Remember, I'm turning over a new leaf! I'm a quiet, reserved
individual now! I gave my throne up to you. Don't know as I
could live up to the competition anyways (well....maybe ;-> )

Now that I think of it, didn't I mention falling off the wagon
and getting the tire tracks up my back...

CJ,

Ya right.. "quiet, reserved individual now" I saw a lot of that
Saturday nite. I also think although you gave up your throne to me, I
won it anyway...

"tire tracks up and down your back, can tell you had your fun"

    re: .0

Gee thanks Barb! You are soooooooo generous!!
Let's see, I only need.....1048 more to catch up to CJ.
So, at my current rate that's...524 MORE parties. Yeah, that'll work!

Actually, some of you are probably wondering about the HUGE spread in
the points. Well, you see, I was score keeper for awhile and them
$10 bills that CJ and Harry slipped me worked wonders.

Bribes still accepted. Send me email for payment info.

Hey.... wait a minute! You have to give "S" a break! It was my first
party with this wacky crew and I actually behaved myself.... Somewhere
I was taught to behave like a lady.. why?? I don't know.

I, at least, deserve 1,000 points for going home with the teeth marks
on my tongue! Next time I won't bite it, I'll just let my comments,
etc. roll right off!!! Get ready Harry and CJ... I'll give you a run for
    that throne!!!

    	Teeth marks on the tongue?

Points are only given for that if they're someone else's teeth
marks. And they wouldn't go to you, but the other person.

Hi,

Well step up to bat, I will throw the first slow curves to you
and see what you can hit with a punctured tongue. Would you believe me
if I told you I held back a little myself, being it was my first singles
event.
CJ, it is better to bite the cupcake than bite your tongue right..

Not that "S" Harry. S is for Steph. And I would like to say to all,
"I told you so!" Despite Steph's having held back, I *KNEW* she was on
the way to dethroning CJ. (well, at least trying to...)

    Harry,

Remembering, of course, you aren't biting it until you have
licked off all the icing. (Slowly, savoring every lick). Then
you start with the little nibbles, rather than taking..well I'll
leave it at that.... I do believe I prefer the privacy of
a less crowded room rather than at the kitchen table with everyone
    watching.

Steph,

I am verry sorry for getting you confused. You can
be my card partner anytime. Any women who can play like you and
rattle of the cost of a six pack is OK by me...
CJ, what can I say?? You are the best!!! Privacy does have
its savory, aroma filled, salvacious moments, but things always
get cooked in the kitchen.

				till we meet again,

er..... let's not let those folks, who chose not to attend, be
privy to any more "in-depth" information. It might make
the next party a little larger. (larger parties can
