    I need to know if anyone  knows if the "UPS port" DB9 on the 
    front panel of a rack mounted Alphaserver 8200 has any functionality.
    And if it does, what is the device name eq. TTA0: ?
    I have a customer who wants to hook his ups console to this port ,
    because he thins this is a local ups /serial port.
