Folks I am not sure if this is the correct notes conference. If not please point me in the correct direction. I have a customer who is trying install an Emulex wide area network adapter in his Alphaserver1000 4/266. The card is a PBXDT-AA. CUstomer is running V3.2c. Is this card supported?, Anything I should be aware of. Regards Steven Freke

Presumably you meant PBXDP-AA; a 2 -port synch comms option. If so, then you need at least version 2.0-A of WAN Support for Digital UNIX. Depending on the other I/O adapters in the system, you may need to upgrade to the console firmware (V3.8?) on the DEC 96 console firmware CD (or later). Failure to do this upgrade MAY result in failure of the console to complete PCI configuration of the I/O adapters. You can explore this further in OZROCK::X25_OSF. |
