Customer wants to order a AlphaServer 300 4/266 running WNT and wants
a low-end graphics card. Out of the supported options I found the cards
PB2GA-FB
PBXGA-AN which is replaced w/ PBXGB-AN.
Neather of these cards are saleable in the price file.
I know I can go to 24 plane graphics but customer doesn't want/need
it.
Question: What low-end graphics cards is supported and SALEABLE on
the ASV 300 4/266 running WNT?

Try the PBXGB-Ax (-AA) PowerStorm 3D30, or the 3D10. ZLXp-L* (Dynamic Pictures V192) is another option. The PBXGA-AA and PBXGA-AN are the same -- the latter includes media and licenses for Open3L for NT. Or try the Matrox MGA or AccelPro SN-PCXAG-AW.

RE: ZLXp-L* (Dynamic Pictures V192) is another option. This is a mid-range, 24 plane graphics card. The Powerstorm 3D30 is a low- to mid-range card. The 3D10 is a low-end card, as are the AccelPro and Matrox cards. Irene

Workstations has told me that the 3D10 has gone EOL,
so your SOL if you want that one.
