    Looking for any pointers or info on OVMS based EACC translation
    software.  VAR is looking OVMS based software, but can only find UNIX
    based software.  Software should be able to translate from EACC to GB,
    BIG5, etc.

	See note 10.* for the search engines -- AltaVista Notes, COMET, etc. I have no idea what EACC and BIG5 are... If these are related to Unicode, you'll have to wait for the `Raven' OpenVMS release for integrated OpenVMS support. If you are looking for specific Asian-language OpenVMS support, there are several OpenVMS language variants available. There may be packages available for this translation, though... I'd look at the NCS routines, though I don't believe NCS can deal with multi-byte characters.
