If the patch applies to V6.2-1H2 and -1H3, then the ECO text needs
to be updated. If the problem was resolved in -1H2 and later and
the ECO text does not indicate this, then the ECO text needs to be
updated. If the ECO does not apply to -1H2 or -1H3 and the problem
still exists in these releases, then a new (or an updated) ECO kit
is needed.
In any of these cases, log an IPMT.

| Then anyone know if this patch can be apply to -1H3? Or someone may
need to update the ECO text? I want to know more before IPMT.
Thanks and regards,
Mickwid.

| To know more you have to IPMT unless you get lucky and have the person
responsible for the patch see this note and want to comment. Notes is not
an official support mechanism.

I realize that you would like to better understand the problem.
The folks that do understand which component of the ECO -- either
the kit or the ECO text -- will need to be updated are the same
folks that will receive the IPMT.
These folks might immediately know the answer to this, or they might
have to research the question to determine the answer. But in either
case, the IPMT is the most expeditious path to getting your customer
an answer, and to getting the ECO kit (or the ECO text) updated...
