Most DIGITAL products have Loan-Of-Products part numbers. For further

(It's the "L" character in the eighth position of a "QL" license part
number that indicates a Loan-Of-Products license.)

| Hi,
It's difficult for us in Hong Kong to call US Software loan specialist
because of the time different and I also understand that there is a
loan part no. for each loanable product.
The probelm for me is I don't know what is the loan part no. for OVMS
Alpha and I even don't know whether the user license for OVMS Alpha is
loanable or not. I've used the normal order no. for OVMS user license
with MT2 or MT3 UPI and with -LD/B at the end to search. However, I
have not found the right loan part no. for OVMS Alpha user license.
Can anyone tell what will be the loan part no. for OVMS user license or
actually the user license for OVMS Alpha is not loanable?

system licenses.

Order the LB or LD part, as appropriate. From the price file:
1 QL-MT1A9-LB OpenVMS Alpha BAS 30 DAY LOAN SPECIAL
2 QL-MT1A9-LD OpenVMS Alpha BAS 60 DAY LOAN SPECIAL
I'd not expect you would need to order any user licenses with these,
but you can confirm this with the U.S. Software Loan Program Manager,
Darlene Crowling, at MKOTS3::CROWLING or AIMHI::CROWLING, DTN 264-4304.

I did not understand this was for a non-US customer. The US program
probably cannot provide the license to you, but can answer some
questions for you.
