	Hi,

	After upgrade OpenVMS v6.2-1h3 to v7.1 on AlphaServer 4100 5/400
	customer have problem with ERRORLOG.

	After command 
	ANAL/ERROR display system message:

	%ERF-E-READERR, error reading SYS$SYSROOT:[SYSERR]ERRLOG.SYS
	-RMS-W-RTB, 5263 byte record too large for user's buffer.


	Can you, help me

   The error log file format appears to be corrupted -- rename the old
   ERRLOG.SYS to ERRLOG.OLD, and allow the error logger to create a new
   log file.

   Also note that OpenVMS Alpha often prefers the use of DECevent for
   examining errors...

On Alpha you should be using DIAGNOSE to analyze the errorlog.  This is 
DECevent and the latest kit is V2.3, I believe.  See SPECXN::DECEVENT for 
more information.
