529.0. "Non-compliant CD access on VAX 6.2" by OSOV03::KAGEYAMA (I Got Rhythm) Fri Apr 25 1997 06:28
Hi,
I tried to access the sample CD which contains html files on OpenVMS
VAX V6.2. But I couldn't open files. I've read VMSNOTES_V11 1307 and knows
this is the problem of non-compliant ISO 9660 CD. But I'm not sure my
problem would be resolved by applying F11C patch kit.

| If the directory names really show up in lowercase then your cd is indeed
not iso compliant, and VMS can't handle that. You should be able to read it
on a pc with Windows95 or NT though. Dos will also not be able to read it.
