493.0. "5.5-2, cant disable shadowing" by QUAKKS::DWORSACK () Fri Apr 18 1997 16:15
i have a system i've inherited,,,,
and i cant seem to turn off shadowing of the system disk.
there is only one disk, and that's what shows in the shadow set.
i keep trying to set the sysgen parameter shadowing to a zero, but
when it boots it still goes right back to a 2... very strange...
does anyone have a suggestion ?
vms 5.5-2

| Set the SYSGEN parameter SHADOW_SYS_DISK to 0 and reboot. It overrides
SHADOWING.
