Under 7.1 VMSMAIL when a user replys to a mail message, hits ctrl Z,
to send the message then hits return in order to return mail message to
which he/she replied, the mail message is
1)being moved forward to the next screen of text if more than 1 screen
of mail text
2)being moved forward to the next mail message if on the last page of
mail text
Is this behavior in mail intentional? I checked the 7.0 and 7.1 release
notes and found no mention of this change.
I tested for the same behavior under 6.1 and this behavior was
definitely not there. When replying to a mail message the user always
returned to the beginning of the mail message to which he/she was
replying.
Bug, feature, change or ? Any clarification would be appreciated.

| Submit a problem report. As a workaround, use MAIL/OLD if this is
really bugging you.
Be sure to include a log showing MAIL settings (such as editor).
