:A customer of mine could not install VAXPHV10_U2055 on a machine running
:5.5-2H4, but they desperately need the new FXDRIVER supplied by the patch.
:Would it be safe to just take the driver and copy it to [SYS$LDR], or should
:I open an IPMT case and ask for a new version ?
It's far safer to open the IPMT, as various images in a patch kit can
be inter-related. (Is there a particular reason they cannot install
the patch kit?)
