Hello all.
I have a customer reported to his US conterpart about a Decnet problem,
whereby he got "%SYSTEM-F-LINKEXIT, network partner exited" error
message when he executed his own in-house application.
His US counterpart came back saying that the problem could also have
been caused by DECNET having some bugs for multi-processing which
causes the sink to crash.
Now he is asking for a patch for this - nr C950530-3983, I request for more
detail about the patch, but customer can't provide.
Need help from you tell what patch is this ? Any help is appreciated.
Best regards,
-Eng-

| 327.2 | Use STARS and COMET. Search for log-number | HAN::HALLE | Volker Halle MCS @HAO DTN 863-5216 | Fri Mar 14 1997 02:49 | 13 |
Eng,
use TIMA STARS and search for this CHAMP log number, then you will find
the following article:
[DECnet] Process Hangs In LEF Waiting For I/O To Complete to Net Device
But this only provides a fix for V6.1.
If searching through COMET for this CHAMP log number, you'll also find
a couple of CLDs etc.
Volker.
