I have read the maximum SCSI buses per system is 6 in a OVMS SCSI cluster. We want to configure an AS8400 SCSI cluster with 10 shared buses. Is this number, 6, to be bigger in the future? Is this number a qualified configuration, but there are not problems in having 10 shared buses? Is there any problem at all to have 10? Thanks, Ana Galan PreSales Technical Support Scotland

The VMScluster conference is located at SPEZKO::CLUSTER. The first spot for "is it supported?" should be the software product description (SPD), the VMScluster SPD in this situation. The SPDs are located in the distribution directories mentioned in the low-numbered notes (8.* and 9.*) in this notes conference. However, as this involves futures and a customer's questions about an "unusual" configuration, you will want to contact Nick Carr (STAR::NCARR), the VMScluster product manager, directly. |
