    Hi,
    
    a customer purchased two VAX 4000-108 and they arrived with OpenVMS
    V7.0 preinstalled, but, due to application constraints, they need to 
    run Openvms V5.5-2H4.
    
    We haven't here a remastered kit or the upgrade save sets VMSU2H4055.A/B
    and it isn't easy to tell to the customer that he must buy a separate
    version of the operating system.
    
    I found the following pointer in an old note, but I didn't find 
    the files there (the note is too old, of course!). 
    Could anyone please give me a valid pointer, or copy the upgrade 
    saveset in the default decnet directory of THYCO:: ? (<-Here there is
    enough space for the entire remastered kit)

   The customer needs to purchase the kit from the software supply
   business (SSB).  We *sell* these kits -- contact SSB and request
   a priority shipment.

   The SSB contact information is in note 8 or 9, and in VTX ATOZ.
   (We were ordering priority kit shipments to customers directly
   from a recent DECUS campground, and the customers were getting
   the kits within a day or two.)

   The internal network kits are *not* to be released to customers. 
   (The internal kits may or may not be the actual final release of
   OpenVMS, and we need to be sure we ship the correct release to
   the customers.)

    Also be sure to tell them all about "Prior Version Support" contracts!
