OpenVMS Alpha V6.2-1Hx is a proper superset of OpenVMS Alpha V6.2.
(All support that was in V6.2 -- with new hardware and new platform
support added -- is present in V6.2-1Hx.)
I'd contact Digi support and ask them for assistance configuring
this module. (I do not have a SYS$LOADABLE_IMAGES:*DG* file present
on V7.1, so I can only assume that this is a third-party driver that
is not integrated into OpenVMS, and that is seperately installed off
a vendor-provided media kit.) If so, check with Digi for a kit that
can be installed on V6.2-1Hx -- the V6.2 driver likely works under
V6.2-1Hx.)

| I remember that there were some problems specifically on the
ALphaserver 4100. As I recall, Digi was made aware of the problem.
You probably need to contact them for a later kit.

| I've verified with Digi that the fix for this is in the latest kit.
It can be found at ftp://ftp.dgii.com/support/drivers/vms/released/

Sue,
thank for your info.
I've fixed the problem installing the latest released DGDRIVER V1.1.1
from location ftp://ftp.dgii.com/support/drivers/vms/released/async
then I confirm that PC/Xem DigiBoard adapter is supported with AlphaServer
4000 family under OpenVMS V6.2-1H3.
