I'm trying to get the dumpfiles off the system disk on a pair
of VAX 7000'. When I run Autogen with the dumpfile_device parameter I get
the following responce. When I get to the release notes it tolls be it
ain't supported on the VAX 7000. Contact my Support Rep for A REMEDIAL KIT.
Current dump file is SYS$SPECIFIC:[SYSEXE]SYSDUMP.DMP
This file does not now exist.
New dump file is $5$DUA6:[SYS0.SYSEXE]SYSDUMP.DMP;
New dump file size is 2097161.
*** To dump to this disk, boot the system with
R3 containing HEX 00060001.
after setting DUMPSTYLE as described in the help texts
for SYSMAN and SYSGEN, and in the release notes.

The only DOSD patch kit for VAX that I can find is VAXDOSD06_062. Jilly | |||||
