128.0. "Cannot interpret console error message" by 23535::MASCOTTANG () Mon Feb 03 1997 00:48

  My customer is running VMS V6.1. Customer finds that the following error
message sometimes appears on the console.

%%%%%%%%%%%  OPCOM   6-OCT-1993 10:50:02.58  %%%%%%%%%%%  DUMP_LOG_FILE
OPCOM has noticed a condition which might be due to an internal error.
It might also be explained by normal events, especially if nodes have
just crashed or rebooted in a VAXcluster. Please bring this message to
Digital's attention only if you are having problems with operator
communications.

   I scan the TIMA topic, it seems a known problem (DUMP_LOG_FILE OPCOM
Message "Unknown message received"). Would anyone know that it has a patch
to fix this problem or not. Any advice should be appreciated.

    Install the latest ALPSHAD ECO applicable to OpenVMS Alpha V6.1.. or,
    better still, upgrade to OpenVMS Alpha V7.1
