    Hi folks...
    
    has anyone seen this error from Autogen before?? The guys on AXP VMS
    6.2 and just after the GETDATA PHASE IS BEGINNING message he gets
    this....
    
    ERROR: COULD NOT EXTRACT PREFIX STRING. ASSUMING (EMPTY)
    
    
    Any ideas as to the cause of this would be much appreciated.

	Look around in the user's SYS$MANAGER:SYCONFIG.COM, if there is one. (AUTOGEN GETDATA invokes this procedure.) There are no matches for "COULD NOT EXTRACT" in any of the modules in the OpenVMS facility that contains AUTOGEN, nor in the facility that contains SYSGEN.
