100.0. "Can a LIBRARY module be "undeleted?"" by CSC32::J_ALBANESE (Colorado CSC, OpenVMS Support) Tue Jan 28 1997 20:25

Does anybody know of a way to "undelete" a module that has
been deleted from a text library with the LIB/DELETE=module
	command?

    RE .1

The module was CREATED and DELETED in the same day. No backups.

    RE .2

Sorry. I still forget the simple stuff at times.

If it was created that day, surely you have the file around that was
inserted, right? That was deleted as well? Where did it come from?

This sounds like it would be more of a problem if you deleted
a text module that was 12-years old and nobody remembered where
the original source came from (hence the suggestion for restoring
    the backup).

Maybe the file was already deleted from disk? Can DFU's undelete help?

Jur.
