A customer has an application which (ALL-IN-1) which sends jobs to an execution
server queue which then formats the files and sends them to a print queue for
printing. In one particular case a job was sent with 58 files to be
processed and printed. The job fails almost immediately with a JBC-E-NOSUCHJOB
error.

I had her stop the queue and try again so we could do a show entry/full. She
did this and she can see all 58 files. We also checked and these files do
indeed exist. We then started the queue and it fails almost immediately. 

We haven't tried to see at what number of files this happens, but we do know
that normally it works with no problems for at least 5-10 files.

	It's unclear from the statement whether it is the server queue or the printer queue that is reporting the error. In any case, the JBC-E-NOSUCHJOB error indicates the symbiont managing the queue is most likely doing a BAD $GETQUI call. Using SHOW/QUEUE/FULL will display the /PROCESSOR value which is the symbiont managing the queue. I'd direct further inquiries on the problem to whatever product (ALL-IN-1, DCPS, OpenVMS for PRTSMB and LATSMB) is managing the queue. Dave

	In this case the symbiont os the ALL-IN-1 OA$FORMATTER.EXE image. I have cross posted a note in the ALL-IN-1 conference. What I can't yet seem to understand is the error NOSUCHJOB; it doesn't make any sence to me. Thanks, Cb.

	Chaim subsequently discoverd this was due to a corrupt queue file. Graham (protecting ALL-IN-1's good (?!!) name)
