Hi Alan, The position to element is supported for compatibility with system software but no physical movement will occur. This is carried as a minimal risk since the mcu stores the elment addresses in memory and if the magazine is removed the mcu rescans and loads to memory again. Correct, we implement this as a no-op just to be compatible with app that uses this command but in TL800 it doesn't buy us much (1 sec top) to position to element before move medium. We will be glad to entertain any comment. |
