Hello, I have a SLS customer who for helpdesk functionality is looking into CA Unicenter TNG. This customer is also using VCS, PSW and Scheduler. I'd like to move them from SLS to ABS but now they have been told by CA that they also have backup/archiving capability fully integrated in the same one environment which provides this capability for both the OpenVMS and the Windows/NT environment. How does this solution from CA compare to ABS ? Any pointers to articles also welcome. Henk.

Henk, If you would like, contact me off-line. Believe it or not our team that supports ABS/HSM/SLS will also be supporting Unicenter and Unicenter-TNG. I have been trained in Unicenter for UNIX and have knowledge or can get answers of the TNG product. Ted |
