I have a customer getting...

Save Request failed for the following reason:
LIB$ADD_TIMES service failed
%ABS-E-SAVEERR, error performing save request

I'm checking now to see if they installed the patches.

422.3Have not seen LIB$ADD_TIMES errorCOOKIE::MHUATue Apr 15 1997 09:1813

    Ted,

    Please do let us know if the patches fix LIB$ADD_TIMES service failed
    error. We have not seen this error before.

    One thing to let th customer try is to do the same operation on GUI
    and let it dump the full diagnostics block to post in the notes.
    Please tell us what command (or what sequence of setting in GUI) gets
    this error also.

    Thanks,
    Masami

We are checking with CA engineering to see what affect the patches will
have on DecScheduler. If you have any contacts you may want to push it
from your end as well.

Do we have any confirmation on whether ABS needs to be relinked
after applying this patch. Time is slipping away slowly. Thanks.

422.6Does not need relinkingCOOKIE::HEISLERChris Heisler, ABS EngineeringFri May 09 1997 13:446
    Ted,

    Our code has been checked out and does not need to be relinked
    after the patch.
