Hi, Customer had a curious type question as opposed to something not working type question. On the configure script for Unix, what does the disable-nls do? If one customer asked, I'm sure others will too. Thanks. Ted

397.1 | --disable-nls means "do not use Native Language Support" | COOKIE::LEWIS | Tue Mar 11 1997 14:16 | 17
You can get help on the configure command on the unix system by entering configure --help at the unix prompt. From the help it provides it indicates the following --disable-nls do not use Native Language Support I believe we had to include this because with out it there were "time" problems in European countries (actually anything east of Greenich). See note 295. I believe the disable-nls was to prevent this from happening. Hope that helps Jim
