378.1 | Yes, you can save the LOG file for the GUI | COOKIE::COPELAND | | Thu Feb 13 1997 08:50 | 6 |
| This has been an intermittent problem since the beginning. You can
save the log file. From the main menu, under the File option,
click Save Log. The log information is saved in
SYS$LOGIN:PABUI_SESSION.LOG

| Hello deb,
first I want to thank you for your answer
second:
I know this possibility,but there's no time to do so
(and I doubt being 'Slowhand')
third:
in that case it's not intermittend.It happens every time
if this option is selected.

378.3 | Does it dump? | COOKIE::HEISLER | Chris Heisler, ABS Engineering | Thu Feb 13 1997 10:38 | 8 |
| raimund,
Do you get a dump on the screen where you originally ran
the ABS$GUI?
Does this only happen when you click on the ADD?

| Hello Chris,
>>> Do you get a dump on the screen where you originally ran
>>> the ABS$GUI?
Sorry, no Dump available(ABS$GUI Image Rundown -> $Status 1)
>>> Does this only happen when you click on the ADD?
No, it also happens if I doubleclick on existing Objects
i.e. it happens everytime an additional Window
(Include and Exclude Specification) should be opened.
A diagnostic block is dumped into the GUI Log but I haven't
been able to see the text( I think that I have seen something
which has to do with Security (not on CSD...)).
With many thanks for investigating,
raimund
