  The problem was caused when DFO gave a command to MOVEFILE to
  move a part of a contiguous file.  MOVEFILE allocated some
  space and then noticed that it was a contiguous file.  MOVEFILE
  returned the error but did not deallocate the allocated space.  I
  have modified DFO so it does not give this dumb command.

  I have created a new kit (X2.2) with these changes in it.  The
  kit is located at:

  cookie::aim$public:[defrag.x22.kits]dfg*.%
