    Does the portion which reads
"from, into and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries,"
mean (or imply) all of the 20th and 21st centuries? I have seen
references to potential 2038 problems to do with the CRTL, are these
potential problems warranted not to occur. If it only
means part of these centuries, then which parts?

DIGITAL's Hardware and Software Year 2000 Warranty

DIGITAL is prepared to stand behind the Year 2000 readiness of its products
with its Year 2000 DIGITAL Product Warranty. This Warranty is supplemental
to the standard warranties contained in DIGITAL's Standard Terms and
incorporates the warranties, remedies, exclusions and other provisions of the
Standard Terms. DIGITAL does not intend to revise all its Standard Terms
forms to add this additional warranty text to the Standard Terms. Rather,
the Year 2000 DIGITAL Product Warranty is an additional express warranty to
be used as an attachment to DIGITAL's Standard Terms as required.

The Year 2000 DIGITAL Product Warranty is applicable only to DIGITAL hardware
and software products designated by DIGITAL as Year 2000 Ready and
subsequently provided under the contract or agreement of which the warranty is
made a part. It is not a retroactive warranty that products previously
provided are Year 2000 Ready. It is not a warranty that products not
designated as Year 2000 Ready which are provided under the contract will be
upgraded by DIGITAL at no additional charge when and if Year 2000 Ready
versions are subsequently released. It also is not a warranty that Year 2000
Ready versions will in fact be released by DIGITAL for all products (some
products may be retired at their current not-Year 2000 Ready version). The
Year 2000 DIGITAL Product Warranty is not applicable to Third Party Products
DIGITAL distributes. Third Party Products are defined in DIGITAL's Standard
Terms as products supplied by DIGITAL under the brand name of a third party,
and may be warranted by the third party as specified in the documentation
accompanying the Third Party Products.

Year 2000 DIGITAL Product Warranty

2000 Ready version in development" (Category Green), as of the specified Year
2000 Ready version number, will correctly process, calculate, compare and
sequence date data from, into and between the twentieth and the twenty-first
centuries, including leap year calculations, when used in accordance with the
associated DIGITAL Product documentation and provided that all hardware,
firmware and software used in combination with such DIGITAL Products properly
exchange accurate date data with the DIGITAL Products.

This Year 2000 DIGITAL Product Warranty supplements DIGITAL's Standard Terms
(including the warranties, remedies and exclusions provisions) which are
incorporated by reference herein and made a part of this Warranty. This Year
2000 DIGITAL Product Warranty is not applicable to Third Party Products."
