20.8what is the problem with show cluster?STAR::JANETOSVMS EngineeringFri Jan 24 1997 16:0922
Steve,

Why is this a problem:

>	o use of `19' in SHOW CLUSTER displays

I say "show cluster" and I see:

View of Cluster from system ID 19571 node: DELPHI 24-JAN-1997 16:06:47

Yes, it displays 19. But it is displaying a 4 digit year. On my
workstation, I set the clock ahead, and the "show cluster" display
rolls over nicely:

View of Cluster from system ID 65518 node: JIMMYJ 1-JAN-2000 00:03:17

Whats the issue? Are we worried that a consumer of the display may
do some parsing of the date string and ignore the fact that we give
them all 4 digits?

What version of VMS is on the two machines? Perhaps it has already been
    fixed on your machine.

The problem isn't in the banner line at the top of the SHOW CLUSTER
    display.

Instead, do SHOW CLUSTER/CONTINUOUS and when it has started up, type
ADD CLUSTER and ADD TRANSITION_TIME (probably others too). These
show dates with a two-digit year field. It's been changed in V7.1
though, and now uses four-digit year fields.

Thank you Richard.

So, the problem is not

o use of '19' in SHOW CLUSTER

The problem is NOT using '19' in SHOW CLUSTER.
