134.0. "Received text in reply mail ?" by STKHLM::KALIX (Carl-Johan "Kalix" Bergstrm 876-7036) Mon Apr 28 1997 10:52

Hi

The new mail user interface is great, but we also need to have the possibility
to get the text of the received message included in the reply to a quick mail.

I looked through the methods that are used, but there seems to be lots of
private methods involved so I don't find any possibilities to overwrite a method
to get the received text copied into the sent message.

Any suggesttions ?

Any possibilities to get the method QUICKREPLY encapsulated into a protected
method, so that it could be extended and have the sendeer text copied into the
subject attribute of the newly created envelop before the Quickreply is called.
