3987.0. ""Help VMS Satellite Cluster running DEC-net Plus"" by SUBSYS::WLEWIS () Tue Jun 03 1997 13:04

    I am familiar with setting up satellites in a VMS cluster running DEC-NET
    phase IV. Now I a trying to set up satellite node with DEC-NET PLUS
    but I am not having any success with the configuration. I have done
    the preliminaries ie ran "@sys$manager:net$configure advanced" to
    configure the network. I have also ran @cluster_config to configure
    the server as both a disk and a boot server. The part that is not
    working properly is configuring a node as a satellite node. After
    configuring my server I ran @cluster_config to add a node as a
    satellite to the cluster. I responded to all the questions with the
    appropiate answers after which the configuration script continues with
    the following messages:

   [ Updating network database...

        On all other boot nodes which may provide MOP DLL service to
        ALCOR3, execute the following command:

            $ @SYS$MANAGER:NET$CONFIGURE "ALS_CONFIGURE" "ADD_CLIENT" -
            _$ "SYS$SYSROOT:[SYSMGR]clu2020012E.tmp3" "ALCOR3"
    "00-00-F8-21-2B-0D" "60.514" -
            _$ "DISK$HAILSTORM:<SYS11.>APB.EXE"

         Configuration last run by SYSTEM on 3-JUN-1997 11:28:03.91

    I get several messages after "Node 0 MOP Client .... " indicating that
    the command failed due to no such object instance.

    Does any one have any suggestion???
