Is there a list of major customers using DECnet-Plus (DECnet/OSI) with tcp/ip support? How large is their network? What network applications they are using? eg Message Router ACMS DQS etc which tcp/ip product they are using? eg ucx multinet ... thanks Mark. PS the reason for the question is that the customer I'm working with would like to be assured that they are not trail blazing.

Mark, I don't have a list, and I don't know whether this network can be used as a reference, but HEPnet widely uses DECnet/OSI over TCP/IP. It works! Regards, John PS: It doesn't count as a large network, but the only way that I ever connect to our troubleshooting network (with multiple sessions) is via DECnet/OSI over TCP/IP. Main applications are SET HOST, COPY and DECwindows. No problems. | |||||

Try contacting product management, Barbara Karten at DELNI::KARTEN Also, next time there's a DECUS in your customers area, they might stop by to network with other customers. |
