This is a typical problem if the local configured window size
and the DCE window size is different.
Check the paper with the X.25 connection details you've received
from your PTT for this parameter.

| We have checked the packet length and window size. It is matched with
the x25 connection. What else we need to check.

More informationis needed :
1. what is your x25-gateway ?
who else uses the gateway (maybe heavily loaded ?)
2. run a trace at the gateway (x25l3 dte) for the failing set host
together with a trace started on the access node (x25gap circuit)

3954.4 | Precedence and tower betweem connector and access noce ? | LEMAN::SCHEIDEGGER | Raymond @GEO - DTN 821-5236 | Wed May 07 1997 09:58 | 9 |
| Hi,
If you have an x25 Access config, check the tower of the connector
node. I had problem when OSIT and NSP was defined and the wrong
precedence set. The access node was trying to connect first with the
wrong tower, waiting 20 second and trying with the rigth tower but it
was to late. If you use a DECnis you should have the DECnis defined
with NSP only ... If i remember correctly.
