Darrell Shavey CSC32::D_SHAVEY DTN 592-4712 Question: In sys$manager, the net$*.ncl script files. Are there any problems moving these do another disk and creating logicals to point to these files? $define/sys/exe NET$MOP_CIRCUIT_STARTUP - disk:[dir.subdir.subdir]NET$MOP_CIRCUIT_STARTUP.NCL Is this supported? Where does digital recommend defining these logicals? NET$LOGICALS.COM? Thanks Darrell

HI Vera, I am looking in the: DECnet-Plus for OpenVMS / Network Management , order # AA-R1UHA-TE but am unable to find anywhere that it discussed moving these files to other directories and pointing logicals to these, and whether it is supported. I would appreciate if you could point me to the section in the manual. Thank you, Darrell Shavey CSC32::D_SHAVEY DTN 592-4712 | |||||

Its Chapter 6.3 : Defining logical names that modify network startup ... * net$ENTITY-NAME_startup specifies a logical name that points to an alternate file location for the network startup *.ncl scripts. regards Vera |
