Hi,
following setup:
an openVMS AXP Cluster with two nodes. each running openVMS 6.2-1H2 and DECnet
Phase IV connected to an fddi ring with the eisa adapter.
installed decnet OSI (V6.3) on one node, changed parametrs as described in the
installation guide, rebooted the installation node and did a net$configure
basic.
I discovered that the old object database was converted into a new ncl script
which was left with the extension .ncl-temp and therefore was not loaded on
phaseV startup after finishing the configuration. the same happend to the mop
client database.
then rebooted the second node and did a net$configure as well. same problems.
and then:
On the second I tried a set host 0 and got a backtranslation error. from the
other node set host worked fine...
any ideas ? what is the current eco and where can I find it...
ciao, Martin

Can you supply a log of the net$configure operation. Also a copy
of the .ncl-temp file and the new .ncl files.... possible just a
pointer rather then posting it here
