3520.3Error status %x0000200c when deleting x25 accessBLG03::SALVATORELLIWed Mar 19 1997 11:2421
    Hi there,
we are having the same problem as .0 with DECnet/OSI V6.3 VAX and
    ECO05.
When shutting down the system we get the

    %NET$SHUTDOWN -I-SHUTENTITY, shutting down TRANSPORTS

error message and the system hangs.

Just before this, after disabling the x25 access

when trying to delete the x25 access we get ** Error status =
    %X0000200C

Do you know what does it mean?

    Can you help please?

Thanks for your help, in advance

Does this system have lots of security entries? If so then that gets
fixed in the ECO after V6.3-6. I didn't think it caused a hang though,
so there may be some other problem somewhere else that causes that.

But since you are shutting down the system, the easy workaround is to
put a $EXIT right at the start of the NET$SHUTDOWN command procedure.

    Antonio,
which fix are you referring to?
What is the ECO after V6.3 ECO06 and where can I get it from?
	Thanks

There is a fix for the PSI shutdown producing an error message i.e. it fixes the
part of the problem in 3520.3:

The hang shutting down transport is something I've seen in passing. There is (I
think) a fix for that too which will presumably be in an ECO. But since you are
shutting down the system, you can probably just skip the whole of the network
shutdown by putting a $EXIT at the top of the network shutdown procedure.

I presume it will be V6.3 ECO07 but that's just a wild stab in the dark :-)

You can get it once it's released, but it does not currently exist.

If you want the fix for the problem shutting down PSI, let me know and I'll dig
out the fixed image. It's a low risk fix.

    Antonio,
    thanks for the quick reply.
Could you let me have the fix related to the PSI shut down
problem and tell me how to apply it?
    Bye
