It has now been a few months since the last input to this note> Has there been a fix issued for the SLS problem outlined earlier please? Alan Brodie ([email protected])

As I recall this wasn't an SLS problem. The DECnet/OSI systems were sending the wrong message. The solution is to upgrade all of the DECnet/OSI systems to 6.3 ECO 6 --Scott

Well, from the replies I've got here, seems the problem is SLS server on DECnet phase IV, and the client shutting down running DECnet/OSI 6.3. OSI 6.3 sends some kind of shutdown message which stops SLS on phase IV server. I have not upgraded any systems to ECO6 yet, but EC5 still had this problem. Hans

I have just installed ECO6 ref note .23 and it has resolved my SLS shutdown issue. Thanks for the guidance Alan B |
