I've been getting take-aways from Alamin on the Basingstoke Road for years
and they have always been good. Latest was last Friday and they are still
good. I also notice they now deliver to a very wide area include Spencers
Wood, Swallowfield, and Riseley!

I wonder if that's in any way related to the Alamin take-away in
Basingstoke (Buckland Parade) cos that one is absolute rubbish!

They are always in total chaos and mix up the dinners and when you get
what you originally ordered you wonder if it was worth it.

I have always enjoyed the take-aways from the Nargis on London road,
who have recently introduced a new menu. The Sardar is usually a good
bet, some of their waiting staff are a little too abrupt for my
liking though. I used to recommend the Curry Garden in Minster Street,
but this has recently become eminently missable.

re.2/3:

Visited the Sadar Palace again last week and the quality was very poor, service
chaotic.

Shame,
Dave.
