Hello,
Prioris MX 6200
NT 4.0 server US SP 2
NSR 4.3
integrated SCSI controler AIC78xx. ( Multiple Lun: enable in the setup of
this controler )
TLZ7L-DA firmware 4BQH
My customer has the following problem:
Using Networker Administrator, he loads a tape ( for example the second tape )
the he unloads this tape and automaticaly the next one is loaded.
When we run JBCONFIG, the juke box is seen as
these are the scsi jukeboxes currently attached to your system:
"[email protected]: other, vendor "DEC", product "TLZ7" (c)DEC
Unde NTbackup, hardware setup we got TLZ7.
On my system ( axp 150 NT 4.0 NSR alpha 4.3 ), our TLZ7L works fine: the next tape
is not loaded, it stays in "SEL SLOT"
The jukebox is seen as Digital 4mm DAT
Is it normal to get " other, vendor DEC, product TLZ7 ?
Thank's
Michel BERNEUIL French CSC

| The NT/Intel version of NetWorker is provided by Legato and
they do not recognise the DIGITAL 4mm products. The software
ejected before the move. This is needed on all but the DAT
and DLT loaders. The TLZ7L acts like a loader puts the next
tape in the drive before the software can make the move.
The group that provides the DAT loaders did not get them
supported by Legato. Jeff James is the product manager
for On-Base DAT products.
